Back and how!

I do apologize for being away for so long. After my slight break, I found myself the shikar of a bad throat viral which is not fun. But I'm back and rocking as usual. Lots going on in Bollywood - so its time for quick one liners I believe!

Reema Kagti's next will feature Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Rani Mukherjee! Excited yet?

Sonam Kapoor and Deepika Padukone are officially down in Rishi Kapoor's bad books after they both went on to call his son and their co-star Ranbir Kapoor, "unstylish" and "unfaithful" respectively. Yikes!

Manisha Koirala went on to claim she had "divorce on her mind" on Facebook after a spat with her husband and is now apparently living with her parents. Uh-oh!

Yana Gupta was spotted without any underwear roaming in Mumbai and while she has been fined in the city, a number of European magazines want her to pose naked for heaps of dough. Great! She has more money to buy underwear.

Guzaarish is out and while the film hasn't managed to do too well at the box office, Hrithik Roshan has walked away with accolades galore. Salman Khan however, has been heard taking pot shots at film claiming not even a "dog" has gone to see Guzaarish. So much gussa towards old pal Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Salman Bhai?

Can Sonakshi Sinha do it without Salman Khan? Karan Johar is asking himself this very question since he is keen on signing on Sonakshi for a film. Her answer, "Of course I can!"

Imran Khan claims he loves the chocolate boy title but is need of more experimental films. Right.

Apparently, Ranbir Kapoor is still love with ex-flame Deepika Padukone and has been seen hanging around her building asking the security guard to let him go on up to her apartment.

Salman - Govinda : Kaati!

Apparently Govinda is miffed at Salman Khan and in an act of vengeance has refused to sign a film which also stars his old friend Khan in. Reason: Well, Chi Chi is upset that Salman hasn't promoted his daughter Narmada Ahuja and instead, has been recommending Sonakshi Sinha left, right and center. The distance in their friendship became more evident when Govinda was missing from the Dabangg success party. Anyway, back to Narmada whose acting career is pretty much stuck and not taking off but when Govinda was quizzed about his absence from the Dabangg party, he was snark to respond, "I wasn't invited to the Dabangg party." Ouch! And he added that he didn't need to be at the Dabangg party, but he would definitely be at the Partner 2 success party. Touche Chi Chi!

Sonakshi Floors the Ramp!

She may have been a model but Sonakshi Sinha proved at the Bangalore Fashion Tour 2010 that even models are human. She slipped or rather tripped while walking the ramp in a long flowly gown on the ramp. While her gown did seem a tad bit long, you have to hand it to the girl for getting up with a big smile and continuing the ramp. Kudos Sonakshi!

Check her out!

Sonakshi and Salman: 3 Times Over!

Sonakshi Sinha and Salman Khan are the next big pair that are making waves. The duo were just seen in Dabangg, have already signed Dabangg 2 and have just been paired up yet again for Sajid Nadiadwala's Kick. Nadiadwala claims that it was Salman who insisted on casting Sonakshi for the female lead in the film. Sajid was only more convinced after watching her performance in Dabangg. It will be Shirish Kunder, Farah Khan's husband, who will be directing and this was furthered embraced by Salman. Nadiadwala is more than excited to have Sonakshi on board since her father, Shatrughan Sinha, has been a part of his productions in the past. He further added that this was the first time he actually went to the house of an actor to sign them on while most other stars come to his office. Needless to say Shotgun Sinha encouraged his daughter to sign the film and hopes his sons too will work with Sajid Nadiadwala soon.

Dabangg Review in 108 Words

Step-father and his Robin Hood corrupt police officer son find themselves at constant loggerheads. The cop takes panga with a local goonish youth politician who manipulates his younger brother and amidst the chaos, and a brewing romance with the village belle, he manages to kick some butt. Abhinav Kashyap starts with a bang and directs a rustic film with style. Salman Khan sports his moustache with great swagger, kicks some serious butt and speaks his OTT dialogues like a rock star. Sonakshi Sinha is heard and seen less. The action sequences are exaggerated but are a clear dedication to Rajnikant. Dabangg is how Hindi cinema should be. Masaledar!

Munni Badnaam: The Item Number of the Year!

I don't care what Farah Khan claims about Katrina Kaif's bellydancing number (from Tees Marr Khan) being THE item number of the year, I am convinced it is going to be Malaika Arora Khan's Munni Badnaam from Dabbang. How can you even compare the dancing Diva Malaika to the very okay dancer Katrina? Take a look, I'm sure you'll be convinced! This is my new addiction.

And because Dabbang is the flavor of the season, check out Tere Mast Mast Do Nain! Salman is totally rocking his moustache too!

Dssshkyun + Dishhoom = Dabbang

I am super and uber excited to watch Dabbang which will star Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha. The movie looks incredibly fun and a bit on the crazy side too. I think if you loved Wanted, you will go insane with Dabbang. So Sallu miyan will be playing a bad guy with a pretty hot moustache in the film. However, look at him as the Robinhood kind who steals from the rich and gives to the poor. It will talk about the numerous flaws in the system, corruption and the involvement of the government. Okay but enough about all that! Take a look at a few of the stills and the trailer! It has been voted the hottest trailer of the year -- and you'll see why! Oh and in case you're wondering what on earth Dabbang is, look no further. Translated, Dabbang means Fearless.

And the stills!!!

Get ready!! This is gonna be a fun rideee!!!
