100 Word Review: Blood Money

Blood Money is basically India’s answer to Blood Diamond. A shoddy answer at that. Kunal Khemu plays a diamond expert who comes to South Africa with his wife (Amrita Puri) and finds himself in a rather sticky situation. Somewhere before the intermission, the film loses its path and you’re left scratching your head. Khemu looks like the kid who brings cylinders to your home on a cycle; Puri is lost. As a film, Blood Money has no substance nor does it have a pull factor. But the real question is: What is wrong with Soha Ali Khan? Kunal Khemu? Really?

100 Word Review: Murder 2

Murder 2 made zero to no sense to me. Something about a serial killer who doesn’t rape but just brutally murders prostitutes and women who are “free”. There’s the usual cat-and-mouse chase in which the corrupt cop who has casual sex with a model (I think?) at sporadic moments. Hardly entertaining and definitely not gripping, this one doesn’t match up to its predecessor. The music is used incorrectly which is such a downer. Hashmi needs a new stylist while Fernandes needed more scope– she was smokin’ hot though. And there isn't enough sleaze, skin or sex, to keep you glued.
