There are very few people whom I actually go out of my way for. Very few. Samyak Chakrabarty is one such friend and entrepreneur whom I absolutely adore because of his determination and ambition. I'm also am totally envious of the fab events gets to attend and amazing people (most of whom I admire) he manages to interact with regularly. In the past, Samyak has been a part of a number of fabulous causes which brings together (and encourages) the youth of India to become more politically active and to ensure their voices are heard. Now, he is teaming up with UTV, as they embark on a more creative avenue to move the youth of India and encourage much required change.
The UTV Strategic Forum headed by UTV, one of India's leading media houses, is looking to "handpick" 15 top young Indians (between the ages of 18 to 25) and create a forum that will cater towards listening to ideas from the youth. CEO to UTV, Ronnie Screwvala will moderate the forum and head discussions. The CEO will lend his ear to the picked youngsters during discussions which they believe need to be heard and debated in the country. As a barter, the picked individuals will get to experience the workings and ins-and-outs of a huge conglomerate as they interact closely with top UTV management.
The cause is one of its kind as it brings together the youth and businesses in India to create a new benchmark as to how India can run in the future.
Samyak is currently scouting for potential frontrunners as he works with UTV to set up the initiative.
