It's always hard to sit and think about what to say about yourself. Okay, who am I? Well, I'm a freelance writer on the path to big things, or so I believe at least. I'm also a blogger for the sheer passion of it and at the heart of it all, I'm just a good gal who wants to get famous. There, I said it. It's never easy to really admit that you want to be famous, or a tad bit at least but hello, at least I'm honest. What I love most about blogging is the informality of it all. Anyone whose no one can be a blogger. Ultimately, that is how I started my writing career. From just blogging, I managed to bag one, then two and then heaps of writing offers from prestigious publications all over the world. Strangely, when I first emailed and asked around for one chance, just one chance, to write, I was quickly told, "No vacancies" or "Sorry, your lack of experience really doesn't work for us". Finally, I was given that make or break opportunity. After working really hard on two profiles I had to cover, I finally bagged a freelance position at ELLE India. Immediately after, I found things simply rolling my way without having to ask too much. Today, I really enjoy writing anything and everything that is thrown my way.
However, while I may know a lot about an area I know very little about in the world of modern journalism, immediately it hit me: Social Media. In a day and age where Social Media can make or break your online persona, it was really sad to believe that I had such limited knowledge about it. That explains why I am here!
