Roshnisms

Okay, I ain't no philosopher but I have my days where what I say actually sounds wise. I think...

On responsibilities: "Responsibility comes with limits."

On the importance of progression: "I couldn't be like my parents. I mean I love them  and they're awesome but progression is important as is rolling with times."

On promises: "Don't promise me the stars when you cant touch the sky."

On conforming: "I believe in challenging the status quo."

On spirituality: "God works in spectacularly beautiful omnipresent ways..."

On Bollywood: "Bollywood is like ghar ka khana - it always tastes the best!

On Cricket: "Life is a cricket match. You never know when you'll get hit for a boundary, get bowled middle stump or caught in the covers!"

I love Bollywood, music, desserts, shoes and quotes (from the uber wise)! Check out some of my favorites!

"Here's to the crazy ones. The misfits; The rebels; The round heads in the square holes; The ones who see differently. They're not fond of rules, or the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them or glorify them. But you can't ignore them. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do!" - Unknown Author

A Blind Person once asked a Learned Man : 'Can there be any thing worse than losing you Sight?' He replied: 'Yes, losing your VISION!'

"Its not easy to break out of your comfort zone. People will tear you down, tell u why u bothered in the first place. ‎But let me tell you something, there's not much of a difference between a stadium of cheering fans and an angry crowd.screaming abuse at you. ‎‎They're both just making a lot of noise, how u take it, its up to you. Convince yourself they're cheering for you. And someday they will"

"Apologizing doesn't mean you are wrong or the other person is right. It just means you value your relationship more than your ego."

"In the Nehruvian era when economic policies were dictated by self-sufficiency and a socialist principles, consumer sovereignty was mostly compromised because they did not get enough choices."

Because I am a woman, I must make unusual efforts to succeed. If I fail, no one will say, "She doesn't have what it takes." They will say, "Women don't have what it takes."

"Kehne ko toh kya nahin hai, Dar pe har khushi khadi hai, Phir bhi kyun lag rahi hai kami...." - Anjaana Anjaani

"Kali kali khaali raaton se, hone lagi, hai dosti..."
- Anjaana Anjaani

"Dhundhla jaayein jo manzilein, Ik pal ko tu nazar jhuka, Jhuk jaaye sar jahan wahi, Milta hai rab ka raasta, Teri kismat tu badal de, Rakh himmat bus chal de, Tere saathi mere kadmon ke hain nishaan, Tu na jaane aas pass hai khuda..." - Anjaana Anjaani

"I lie to everyone about everything, especially me. I say I'm not tired when i am, I say I'm hungry when I'm not. I tell people what they want to hear, and never say what I'm actually feeling. I let the lies pile up like bricks on a wall, until I can't see out and no one else can see in. I make a plan to escape. I become someone else. I put on a disguise, and I climb over the wall, and no one recognizes me.
I feel powerful. I get people to do what I want them to do, but I go too far, I get lost, and I don't recognize myself. So I take off my disguise, I give away the power, I give up the control, I retrace my steps, go back to the wall, and I take it down, brick by brick. I bury them to mark the place, strip away all the lies until there are none left. I remember the girl I left behind, i claim the confidence I was missing. I envision the woman I want to be, tell everyone the truth about everything, especially you." -

Mr. Freeman: Hey! Whoa. You just chose your destiny. You can't change that.
