Salman Khan: The Most Sellable Actor in India

Once a week, I will take a look at an actor, male or female, in Bollywood who is iconic, different or plain entertaining. And who else to begin this segment with but the most bankable Salman Khan. Over time the actor has evolved from strength to strength. I am avid fan of old-school Salman Khan ala Maine Pyar Kiya, Patthar Ke Phool et al. But even now, the actor still entertains and how! Yes, he overdoes it sometimes but who can imitate the style and unique sense of style Salman Khan possesses. Many have tried only to F.A.I.L. More recently, Salman came out with WANTED only to prove that he is the most versatile actor till date. Irrespective of how his films do at the box office, he manages to sell tickets and do exactly what sets out to do with all his films: entertain. An apt dancer, comedian, ass-kicker and great hunky looks, Salman Khan has re-arrived and just like fine wine, will only get better with time. And just incase you want to see more S Khan, in the next six months you will see him in Dabbang very soon which promises to be filled with Salman Khan magic!!
